The Curse of Monkey Island released on GOG!

The Curse of Monkey Island is finally available on GOG!

Coming to us right from the golden age of LucasArts, a classic point-and-click game, as we called them back then in 1997, 21 years ago!
It hasn't aged a bit, if you asked us.

Unlike Grim Fandango which has aged badly because of his early 3D style, and the first Monkey Island games, which might repel some people because of their minimalist pixel art style, Curse of Monkey Island will never need a remaster, thanks to its gorgeous 2D cartoonish hand-drawn art (which looks infinitely better than the horrifying remakes of the first games), fully spoken dialogues which are more funny than anything you could find in modern games (unfortunately, it's true), and a story which is still as fascinating in 2018!

No game has ever given you such a strong feeling of being on a holidays visiting Carribean islands.
Every unique location is a pleasure to visit and the overall experience is simply wonderful.

It's too bad that only the English voices are available, especially when you know how funny the French voices sound. (as usual 😉)
For those who want to play the game in a different language, you can find some dubbed versions there (German, Italian, French) => Emuparadise
You can play these using the same Scummvm emulator provided with the GOG release, if you want to.
The bloody hair on the floor doesn't motivate me to get a haircut here...

Our second biggest regret is that the OST isn't bundled with the game, or at least proposed as a DLC or something...
Monkey Island 3 OST is by far the best of the series, and you can listen to some tracks on Youtube =>

It doesn't get any better than this.

You can get the game on GOG!🤗
